2. How does the so-called self-administration function?

This is today based on a non-profit organization, called “Asociación Civil Fernheim”. Through this organization the social institutions of the colony are being handled today. It is being financed through the contributions of the members. The following branches belong to this association at present:
- Schools
- Hospital
- Social security
- Road maintenance
- Fire and Storm insurance
- Social work
- Mutual insurance for vehicles
- Public order
- Mail system
